Ubuntu 10.04 First Thoughts

As you may know, I use Ubuntu as my primary operating system. I love the stability, ease of use and the fact that it's open source. Of course, my experience with Ubuntu has been entirely with 9.10, also known as Karmic Koala.
Yesterday, that all changed. As I was checking my email, the update manager popped up like it always does, but this time, I noticed the availability of Ubuntu 10.04, also known as Lucid Lynx. Thinking to myself "Why not?" I accepted the download. After an install that took longer than I expected, I rebooted.
To my surprise, my PC started in approximately half the time it normally does. I was then greeted by the familiar login screen, not much change here. After I logged in, I noticed that the close window button had moved to the left corner. After installing flash player, I saw a noticeable improvement when playing HD content on Youtube. Yeah, I don't know the numbers or anything, and I don't feel like looking them up, either. Suffice it to say that I think 10.04 is "Nifty".
